What is your favourite part of your job?
A portion of my role involves checking and reconciling various items, such as our bank account transactions and balances, to ensure our processes are working properly and our reporting continues to meet our high standards. When everything “balances” I feel a genuine sense of accomplishment… but real joy (insidious joy one might say) comes from those items that don’t immediately reconcile and therefore invite me to solve a puzzle. The mystery is always unraveled, to my delight, with valuable lessons learned and improvements made along the way.

What is your favourite paradigm and why?
Given what I enjoy most about my job, Relentless Incrementalism seems a natural winner as my favorite paradigm, but it’s my second. Wholehearted Togetherness easily wins the prize. I believe greatness can be achieved when people work naturally and earnestly together toward a common goal, such as our purpose.
